‘Connect Ireland’ open day in Cashel

Tipperary County Council extends a warm invitation to community organisations to attend an information session in Cashel this Wednesday May 7th to outline the opportunity for your community to engage with ConnectIreland.

The purpose of the meeting is to inform local people on the opportunity to help create jobs in County Tipperary and Ireland, with a financial reward accruing to individual community groups that engage. ConnectIreland is delivering a programme whereby the Irish government will financially reward any person (called a ‘connector’) who introduces an internationally expanding company to Ireland.

If the company establishes operations in Ireland and employs people a financial reward of €1,500 for each job (minimum 3 jobs) up to a maximum of €150,000 is payable to the connector.

The information event will be held in Brú Ború, Cashel at 7pm. Refreshments will be served on arrival. The interesting line-up for the meeting includes a Keynote address by John Delaney, CEO of the FAI. Details of the opportunities of this programme will be outlined and information will be provided on the prospects for community groups or organisations in the county to accrue financial reward. Connect Ireland wants to harness the power of the Diaspora to create jobs at home.
