Environment Minister Alan Kelly has confirmed that major progress has been made to the Derryvale site where both An Post & Turas Nua Ltd. are to operate from.

Visiting the site last week where both firms are to operate from, Minister Kelly said: “I am delighted to see the huge progress that has been made on site and must applaud all involved. It is great to see that Turas Nua LTD have begun to operate from the unit and I look forward to An Post moving in soon. This is a great investment for Roscrea. It will create local employment and will also have a spin off effect for the local economy. The demand for local shops, B&Bs and so forth will increase as a result of this jobs announcement.” Owner of the premises Donie Ryan thanked Minister Kelly for all his work and commitment in securing these investments for the town of Roscrea. Local businessman Desmond Walsh also commended Minister Kelly for the role he played in this.
