Suirvale Macra made the final but the top spot went to Treble R Macra from Dublin.

Macra na Feirme national president, Kieran O’Dowd, congratulated all the participating teams on the dedication and hard work that went into preparing for the competition.

“Tag rugby is a great team sport and is a good way to promote both team work and leadership, skills. It’s a fun sport which a person with any level of fitness can participate in. I encourage all Macra members to go on to the Health & Wellbeing section of the macra.ie website, sponsored by the National Dairy Council, to get information on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and how dairy plays a part in a healthy diet,” he said.
