In the current tough times, nothing beats practical advice from people who are successfully running businesses.
At an SME seminar held in AIB Thurles, AIB customer Joe Kerrigan of Centenary Thurles Co-Op outlined how he is managing through the recession and shared his advice and experiences with an audience of over 45 business owners and guests.
Because cashflow management is a real priority for all businesses today, experienced AIB staff discussed the key aspects of the management of cashflow and how to get the best support from your bank. Speakers from AIB also outlined their support for businesses through the current economic cycle.
AIB is currently holding more than 50 such meetings around the country offering practical advice and support from local business practitioners who are successfully working through similar difficulties and challenges.
These seminars are part of AIB’s commitment under its SME Lending Plan to have a comprehensive communication and engagement programme with customers to promote the availability of credit to SME’s.
Jimmy Kearns, Branch Manager, AIB Thurles, said,
“I think that everyone benefited from the advice and experience shared this evening and found ideas they can put into action straight away.”
“At AIB, we will provide both support and credit to our customers . Lending is core to our business and to building customer relationships. It is integral to what we do. AIB will consider all opportunities across all sectors for viable businesses – both new and existing”
