‘Cashel for Africa’ in new campaign

To mark the 30th anniversary of ‘Cashel For Africa’ on August 17th 1985, a new group is organising a celebration to showcase local bands, musicians & arts & crafts while raising money for local causes.

To mark the 30th anniversary of ‘Cashel For Africa’ on August 17th 1985, a new group is organising a celebration to showcase local bands, musicians & arts & crafts while raising money for local causes.

Beginning this Friday August 21st from 11am-6pm the ‘Cashel Busk’ goes ahead on the town with all proceeds to Cashel Lions Club. On Saturday 23rd on the Plaza Main Street from 11am ‘The 30th Anniversary Gig’ featuring Baker Street, Big Seanie Ryan, Billy O’Dwyer Bob, Cathal Minogue, Cillian and Phelim, Eugene O’Grady, Foul Play, George McGrath, Michelle Lawrence Dance SChool, Mondsters in Vegas, Mystic Biscuits, Pat Carrie, Seskin Lane, Stone Deaf, Son’s of Guns, The Wig Wam Glam Band, Thomas Grogan, U Turn, Zimmerman. All bucket collections to Cashel Youth Project. On Sunday August 23rd ‘Dominic’s Market’ in Dominic’s Court, Cashel. A showcase of Arts, Crafts, local produce and Performers.
