More Tipperary programmes to be featured on Irish TV

Local TV programming in Tipperary will benefit from the announcement this week of the opening of Irish TV’s new Munster regional hub.

Twenty new jobs will be created in a range of skilled media disciplines as the channel expands its range of locally-produced programming from the six Munster counties through its new Munster regional office in Tralee.

This will mean increased opportunities for programming from Tipperary, which already has a weekly half-hour programme called Tipperary Matters, which airs on Saturdays at 8.30pm.
