A fantastic night’s entertainment is guaranteed in the beautiful Brú Ború Theatre Cashel, situated at the foot of the Rock of Cashel where a very unique series of concerts will be held every Monday night for the month of July.
Seán Keane, one of the greatest exponents of traditional folk songs, sings in his unique style with what can only be described as a hauntingly unforgettable voice. A member of the famous musical Keane family and brother of Dolores from Caherlistrane, County Galway he has been immersed in traditional music from an early age. Joining Seán on these intimate evenings will be one of Ireland’s greatest female artists Louise Morrissey who will take a trip down memory lane to her folk roots when she was part of the acclaimed folk group The Morrisseys.
Hear Seán sing his many memorable hits - ‘Home’, ‘I’m No Stranger to the Rain’ and his beautiful version of ‘Galway to Graceland’. Louise will entrall you with her rendition of some of her many hits from her folk days with The Morrisseys, such as ‘The Old Rustic Bridge by the Mill’ and ‘Come Back Paddy Reilly to Ballyjamesduff’ and not forgottening the classic ‘Hard Times’ by Steven Foster.
