The honour of being the youngest musician in the competition goes to Keelan McGrath (12) from Borrisokane. Keelan has been playing music from the age of eight, inspired by the music of late Paddy O’Brien through the teaching of Ned Kelly also from Tipperary.

Colm Brussels (pictured above) is from Roscrea and will be the only competitor playing the piano accordion in the final. Colm started playing music at the age of 14 and has been hooked ever since. He plays with a céilí band, and also plays classical piano and drums!
