Culture Night will take place on Friday, September 21st when locals and visitors across the island of Ireland will enjoy a free night of entertainment, discovery and adventure.

Arts centres, libraries, museums, galleries, churches, historic towns, artists’ studios and cultural centres will open their doors late into the evening welcoming people of all ages and tastes to sample their cultural delights.

North Tipperary has a strong network of groups and organisations involved in cultural activity and this is a final call to groups and organisations who wish to have their event included in a county-wide promotional publication to forward their details by 4pm on Friday, July 27th to rosemary.gleeson@northtippcoco.ie.

Please note that all events must be free of charge.

As part of Culture Night 2012 the Arts Office of North Tipperary County Council is inviting submissions from all visual artists working in North Tipperary for a group show entitled ‘What will you see?’ which will take place from Friday, September 21st to Friday, October 19th in the Civic Offices, Nenagh.

This exhibition is intended to showcase the range of art practice taking place in North Tipperary and is an opportunity for all visual artists working in the county to submit their work.

A maximum of two pieces of work may be submitted.

Both two-dimensional and three-dimensional works will be considered.

This will not be a selected exhibition, but rather an endeavour to show at least one piece of artwork from each artist (dependant on numbers submitting).

All artwork submitted must be of a suitable content for a general audience.
