Tipperary-based actor Martin Maguire plays Garda Ombudsman in gripping ‘Red Rock’ storyline

Tipperary-based actor Martin Maguire has landed a guest part in TV3’s hit soap ‘Red Rock’ - Martin will feature in the second of next week’s episodes which airs on Thursday, March 12th at 8.30pm on TV3.

Tipperary-based actor Martin Maguire has landed a guest part in TV3’s hit soap ‘Red Rock’ - Martin will feature in the second of next week’s episodes which airs on Thursday, March 12th at 8.30pm on TV3.

Martin, who is originally from Dublin but has been living in Cloughjordan, for the last eight years, plays Garda Ombudsman Mark Lynch who arrives on the scene following the sudden death of a man who was being held in custody at Red Rock Garda station. McKay’s worst nightmare has become a reality and the Garda station is now under the microscope from both GSOC and the media.

As the station plunges deeper into trouble Mark has an exhaustive line of questioning for each and every Guard involved in the tragedy. Eager to get to the truth a brazen Mark will stop at nothing to obtain the answers he’s looking for . . . even if it means making a few enemies along the way.

Martin will also be appearing in ‘Under My Bed’ a collaborative project with Barnardos at the Smock Alley Theatre from March 12th-14th.
