‘Philomena’, a film directed by Stephen Frears and starring Steve Coogan and Judi Dench, has been nominated for a best picture award at the up-coming Oscars.

‘Philomena’, a film directed by Stephen Frears and starring Steve Coogan and Judi Dench, has been nominated for a best picture award at the up-coming Oscars.

The film tells the story of the decades-long attempts of a retired nurse to find the toddler she was forced to give up for adoption at the Sean Ross Abbey, Roscrea.
