Rehearsals are at an advanced stage now for the hilarious comedy The Late Mrs Early which is being staged by The Roscrea Players in The Abbey Hall from Wednesday November 20th – Sun 24th at 8.00pm.

The play centres around the objection by Alice Early, played by the legendary Siobhan Bowe, to the marriage of her son Terry, played by Colum Doyle, to Susan Rickworth played by Caoimhe Kirby. This is the first time that Colum and Caoimhe appear with the Players, both being regulars with RMS. Events take an unexpected turn and the family have to cope with her particularly sudden demise. Rest in Peace? Not Alice...but there is a cunning plan being hatched to bring them back together by the Nosey Mabel Sutton, played by Salome Hennessy.

This year’s Play is directed by Colin Williams, himself no stranger to the Abbey Hall stage. The show runs for 5 nights and no advance booking is required – just turn up on the night. Further information available from David Donnelly 087 054 8082.
