Leo Enright presents the Bernal Lecture at the Nenagh Arts Centre

As part of Science Week at the Nenagh Arts Centre Leo Enright, renowned scientific reporter, will give the Bernal Lecture (named in honour of famed Nenagh-born Scientist John Desmond Bernal).

As part of Science Week at the Nenagh Arts Centre Leo Enright, renowned scientific reporter, will give the Bernal Lecture (named in honour of famed Nenagh-born Scientist John Desmond Bernal).

Leo was formerly a news presenter and radio broadcaster on RTÉ and is currently chairman of the Irish government’s science awareness programme. Leo has been to the forefront of reporting on space exploration for a number of years.

Leo will give a lecture on space and discuss the origin of the cells which led to the evolution of man. This lecture is suitable for all ages and takes place at 8pm Tuesday, November 12th. Admission is free to this event.

Science Week events at the Nenagh Arts Centre are supported by Procter and Gamble. Science week at Nenagh Arts Centre will also feature a screening of Stanley Kubrick’s classic film ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ on Wednesday, November 13th at 8pm.
