Kilcommon set to host a unique Year of Faith event

John Waters and James Kilbane will combine for a unique show at St Patrick’s Church in Kilcommon on Tuesday, September 17th at 8pm - country gospel singer James Kilbane and popular journalist and writer John Waters present an evening together for the Year of Faith.

As part of their contributions to the Year of Faith, James and John have decided to become partners in a short tour of communities, churches and venues over the Year of Faith. In these presentations James and John will share their faith and stories that will explore through their music and the spoken word some of the most fundamental questions facing faith, Irish culture and those who inhabit it today: on subjects as, freedom, reason, hope, certainty and overcoming adversity. Many in the Kilcommon, surrounding parishes and all prayer groups are very welcome from across Tipperary and into Limerick and Kilkenny are looking forward to this evening that promises to be an enjoyable, inspiring and thought provoking evening of faith sharing.

Roscommon native John Waters is a well-known Irish personality and writer. He has been a journalist since 1984 and currently writes for the Irish Times. Partnering John on the evening is award-winning singer James Kilbane who has become a leading voice for Christian music in Ireland.
