The Damer House Gallery in Roscrea is preparing to launch the ‘Homeland’ video art program mewhich will feature national and international artists from Ireland and Barcelona and will be run in collaboration with Loop-Festival Barcelona.

The Damer House Gallery in Roscrea is preparing to launch the ‘Homeland’ video art program mewhich will feature national and international artists from Ireland and Barcelona and will be run in collaboration with Loop-Festival Barcelona.

Last year the gallery featured twenty-seven national and international short art-films in Loop with the collaboration of the Barcelona Loop Festival.

The ‘Homeland’ video event is exclusively dedicated to video art and film, a meeting point for professionals and video art lovers.

The Loop Festival Barcelona is a space for professional discussion that aims to provide a collective examination on the concerns and challenges emerging in the fields of production, diffusion and management of artist’s films and videos specifically and in culture production more generally.

‘Homeland’ aims to bring together all kinds of representatives involved in the sector art films; a reference point that favours debate among video art lovers and allows visitors to experience new works.

‘Homeland’ intends to become an international benchmark event and takes place in the Damer House Gallery for three weeks from June 6th - it is in collaboration with the Loop Festival Barcelona and Safia Art Contemporani - Galeria Safia, Barcelona.
