David Geraghty’s Join Me In The Pines are set to feature in The Source Arts Centre, Thurles on Thursday, March 26th (8pm).

Join Me In The Pines released their debut album ‘Inherit’ on October 10th and so far the band have unleashed the incredible debut single ‘Joy Is A Lion’, the stunning song ‘Golden Guilt’, ‘Should Not Roam’ and now ‘At First Light’ is the fourth track to be uncovered from the album!

‘At First Light’ was directed by Simon Daniels and the video is a simple one portraying Dave Geraghty (Bell X1), the man behind the moniker, in black and white sitting alone with just his guitar.

Join Me In The Pines released their debut single ‘Joy Is A Lion’ earlier this year to two sell-out shows in Dublin’s Unitarian Church and Coughlan’s in Cork and Summer festivals appearances.

Following on from this success the band performed tracks from their debut album ‘Inherit’ in Triskel Christchurch in Cork, Whelan’s, Dublin and the Spiegeltent in Wexford and have just announced a new date in the Seamus Ennis Centre, Naul.

The man behind the moniker is Bell X1’s David Geraghty who released his debut solo album ‘Kill Your Darlings’ in 2007 to critical and fan acclaim.

The album was also nominated for a Choice Music Prize that year.

The year 2009 saw David return with his second solo offering ‘The Victory Dance’. Both of these albums were written and recorded between stints in the hectic Bell X1 touring schedule.

It is a busy year for Mr Geraghty as he is also writing the film score for ‘You’re Ugly Too’ starring Aidan Gillen. The film is set to appear at film festivals around the world from September with a release date due for next year.

Join Me In The Pines will play a gig at 8pm in The Source Arts Centre, Thurles on Thursday, March 26th.
