The Nenagh Arts Centre is hsoting a series of Easter break workshops and events for children and young people next week.
Looking for something for the kids to do, next week? Well, Nenagh Arts Centre presents a series of workshops for children and young people who might have a little time on their hands during the Easter break.
On Monday, April 14th there’s the day-long Marshmallow Arts Workshop for eight to 12-year-olds where the children are encouraged to make their own works based on the secrets of the great artists.
On Tuesday, April 15th twelve to 16-years-olds interested in knowing how a band is set up at a venue can learn about lights, speakers, sound and how all of those elements they all come together in the AMP workshop.
On Wednesday, April 16th there are two sessions of chess for beginners - young people get a chance to begin to develop their skills for this wonderful game of strategy and battle as knights, bishops and queens go to war to kill the king.
And, finally on Thursday, April 17th at 3pm there is a special screening of the Oscar-winning movie ‘Gravity’ - the film stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as two astronauts adrift in space and fighting to save their lives.
