Roscrea Library Summer reading challenge

Children can register at the Library desk and receive an information pack containing all the details of the programme.

Children can register at the Library desk and receive an information pack containing all the details of the programme.

Each pack contains a Summer Reading Adventure Bookmark, a SummerReading Adventure Reading Card to keep track of the books read during the summer and a Summer Reading Adventure Puzzle and Colouring Sheet. The aim is for each reader to read six books and at the end of the Summer each participantwill receive a medal and certificate. When readers get their Reading Card stamped the first time, they will receive a wristband.  Instead of using “leaves” to decorate our Reading Tree this year, each participant is encouraged to colour the balloon in the pack  and return this to the library to decorate our Reading Tree.Once again this year, Bernies Supervalu are our sponsors, and we are very grateful for their continued support with this programme. The Summer Reading Adventure is open to all children, the only condition is that they are Library Members!  Membership for children is free!
