Jo Southwell’s award-wnning short film, ‘Cover Me’, is scheduled to be screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
Jo is a top film writer-director with links to Nenagh and who is now based in Surrey, England. Indeed, Jo’s mother, Hanora Kelly, lives in Nenagh.
Jo has also begun production for her first feature film, ‘Deirdre of the Sorrows’, which she will also be promoting at the world famous Cannes Film Festival.
Aston Productions will be travelling to Tipperary to scout for new locations for the trailer of ‘Deirdre of the Sorrows’ which will be shot at the end of May.
‘Cover Me’ will be screened by CMG in Palais F at the Cannes Film Festival on May 20th at 1.30pm. This screening is being hosted by the Creative Minds Shorts block at the festival.
‘Cover Me’ was released in 2014 and is an award-winning short that has been screened globally.
