The Source Arts Centre will host a ‘Learning From Art’ exhibition until Thursday, January 30th. The exhibit will be open on Monday to Saturday (10am-5pm).

On Saturday, December 7th (3pm) Dr Marie Bourke, Keeper and Head of Education, National Gallery of Ireland will officially open the exhibit - all are welcome to attend.

‘Learning From Art’ is an exhibition which illustrates the work of young people between the ages of five and eighteen from all thirty-two counties in Ireland. The aim of the exhibition is to encourage young people to be curious and creative by using their national collection as a source of inspiration – to learn something about art while partaking in their own creative process.

Comprising thirty-seven works and three explanatory posters the exhibition is accompanied by a complimentary catalogue of essays by artists, writers, poets and educators; together with an activity sheet to further encourage the process of learning and creativity.

For all bookings please call the box office on 0504 90204 or visit www.thesourceartscentre.ie.
