It has taken the Kilfenora Céilí Band one hundred and four years to make the trip to Tipperary.
The world-renowned Kilfenora Céilí Band with what Folk Roots magazine called “one of the tightest rhythm sections in the world” will make a momentous appearance in the Premier County by playing in concert at The Dome, Semple Stadium on Saturday, March 9th March, as part of The Gathering - the year-long celebration of all things Irish.
Not only will we be treated to the foot tapping musical brilliance of the Kilfenora Céilí Band, but we will also witness the mastery of the world champion dancer Michael Donnellan and the highly-regarded West Clare Set Dancers.
We will also be mesmerized by the beautiful singing of Don Stiffe.
This truly will be an action-packed concert embracing our Irish heritage.
