Nenagh Heritage Centre’s Heritage Week activities

As part of National Heritage Week, on Thursday, August 22, from 7.30pm to 8:30pm, Nenagh Heritage Centre, in conjunction with the Nenagh Players, will make the history of Nenagh Gaol and some of its inhabitants “come alive”.

As part of National Heritage Week, on Thursday, August 22, from 7.30pm to 8:30pm, Nenagh Heritage Centre, in conjunction with the Nenagh Players, will make the history of Nenagh Gaol and some of its inhabitants “come alive”.

On Friday, August 23, between 12pm and 2pm you can learn about the varied history of these buildings, step back in time with a visit to the museum and follow in the footsteps of the condemned prisoners with a guided tour of the condemned cells and the execution area.

Admission is free to both events, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
