Roscrea Community Childcare to Relocate to Custom Built Facility

PLANS were recently announced for the Roscrea Community Childcare operated by North Tipperary LEADER Partnership (NTLP) to relocate to a new custom built facility at Tullaskeagh, Knock Road, Roscrea. It is envisaged that the Service which currently operates from the Resource Centre, New Line, Roscrea will relocate in July in time to welcome the new in-take of children to the Pre-School in September.

In excess of 65 children are currently enrolled at Roscrea Communtiy Childcare, which offers care to babies, waddlers, toddlers and pre-schoolers in the only full day service of its kind in the town. The service has enjoyed the patronage of families from Roscrea and the surrounding area since 1998 when it was established and it is believed that enrolment will be enhanced in the new custom built facility. Staff at the facility have FETAC accredited training in Childcare and Montessori teaching methods are employed. The Service operates the Free Pre-school Scheme (ECCE) as well as the State sponsored Subvention Scheme. Further information regarding the service is available by calling 087 677 4609.
