Hailing from the streets of Nenagh, Limerick city and San Francisco, Moscow Metro have been described as, “haunting, yet uplifting”.

The band formed in the winter of 2011 and their name was chosen in the wake of the Moscow City suicide bombings and the destruction of Moscow’s spectacular underground.

Moscow Metro draw influence from their social environment, life in their surroundings, and its effect on their lives, and the city around them.

Their distinct “wall of sound” approach has been described as both haunting and uplifting; melding sincerity and aggression in a dense melancholic core.
