‘Jonathan Harker and Dracula’ – a dramatic new multimedia adaptation

His journey to Transylvania and encounter with Count Dracula and the Brides of Dracula at Castle Dracula constitutes the dramatic opening scenes in the novel and most of the film adaptations.

This new adaptation of Bram Stoker’s iconic masterpiece sees Gerard McCarthy playing both Jonathan Harker, whose diaries chronicle the bloody tale, and the greatest supernatural character of all time: Dracula. 

Using multiple cameras, backing screens, projections, surround sound and a newly commissioned score, this solo tour de force will make audiences scream.

Gerard McCarthy is one of Northern Ireland’s most exciting and versatile young actors.

Best known for television roles in ‘The Fall’, ‘Vikings’ and new BBC comedy ‘Puppy Love’, Gerard recently starred in the Globe’s production of ‘The Merry Wives of Windsor’ in London and New York. The brides of Dracula come in the beautiful demise of well-known stage and screen stars who made pre filed cameos for their roles - Kym Marsh, Rachel Tucker and Jayne Wisener make up the terrrible trio.
