The countdown is on for the Food and Craft Gathering on Thursday, July 17th July from 6-9pm at the Craft Granary, Cahir.
This event will showcase the talent on our doorstep in both food and craft. Local foods include tasty relishes, jams, chutneys, home baking, cake decoration in modelling chocolate, wheatgrass juices, herbs, vegetables and salads. Local food producers that are attending are the The Green Bowl Company, Vera Miklas Chocolatier, Ayle Foods, Barbara Russell Catering, Crossogue Preserves and the Country Markets.
All of the food producers will give tasters of their products on the night. In addition stunning work will be on display from craft workers from the South East of Ireland. There is ten per cent off all marked prices on July 17th only. All are welcome and entry is free.
The Craft Granary, a beautifully restored 19th Century grain store is located on Church Street in Cahir. It acts as a showcase for quality handcrafted items from the South East of Ireland. The craft centre features pottery, glassware, woodturning, occasional furniture, photography, fashion accessories, soft furnishings, handmade cards, jewellery and children’s toys.
