Famous street performers, high nelly bikes, and a “who do you think you are” – style stall are set to be rolled out at a Family Fun day at the inaugural Roscrea Summerfest.
Roscrea Summerfest is taking place on Sunday, July 28th in Roscrea Shopping Centre and on the Tesco Plaza. It will be a day for all the family to enjoy, with street performers, a bonny baby competition, dog show, vintage cars, the Exploration Dome and many more family attractions.
The event is being organised as a fun-filled, family day out and kicks off at 12 noon. “A Minute to Midnight” will play on the day, there will be food stalls, story telling by famous author Mary Arrigan and artists displays. A mobile farm and vintage cars should spark some interest as well as facepainters and our very own local Ice-cream stand. This event is being organised by Roscrea Shopping Centre in conjunction with Tesco Roscrea and the local community.
Billed as a “family extravaganza” at Roscrea Shopping Centre Sunday, young and old alike can look forward to acts such as the amazing Fanzini Brothers and Professor Plunger, vintage cars, face painting, live band “Moody Cow” and much more. And Barack Obama’s famous Moneygall cousin - eight times removed - is helping out.
