THE Face to Place Exhibition will launch on Saturday, October 20th at 7pm in the South Tipperary County Museum.
Due to popular demand a reprise of Donal Wylde’s nostalgic photographic exhibition The Light of Other Days in contrast with Waterford landscape photographer Terry Murphy’s panoramic images of South Tipperary’s beautiful countryside.
The Light of Other Days captures life in Clonmel and South Tipperary in the 1960s and 1970s as seen through the lens of Donal Wylde as a youthful photo-journalist with The Nationalist.
Terry Murphy’s Panoramix features large format gicleé prints of South Tipperary’s beauty spots and hidden treasures. Better known as a commercial photographer Terry’s passion has always been for atmospheric landscapes and seascapes in his native South East.
Face to Place is a collection of unique images of an age that has gone and of a county and countryside we can be proud of.
