Daltons Heritage Centre is delighted to announce that John Connors from the Borrisoleigh Historical Society will give a lecture on the life of Irish patriot Sean Hogan.

This event will take place in the Marian Hall, St Michaels Street, Tipperary Town on Saturday 10th October at 7 pm Admission €10; tickets can be ordered from Daltons in advance or you can pay at the door. The proceeds from this evening will be used to repair and repaint the exterior of Daltons. This lecture is sponsored by Ach Na Sheen Guest House in Tipperary Town. Daltons started off back in 1990 as the New Tipperary Centenary Company Ltd. The society had two main aims: to create awareness as to the importance of New Tipperary & preserve the physical remnants of what was a unique development in Tipperary Town. Daltons also helps to organise Clan and Family rallies and provide surname certificates and surname histories. Currently there are over 700 surnames in their database.
