Irish TV, Ireland’s first international television station, will broadcast a special half hour programme from the midlands’ biggest country music festival the Obama Country Fest at the Moneygall GAA grounds on July 4.
The feature will comprise a full Offaly County Matters programme, to be broadcast in the weeks after the festival, and will contain highlights from the day, as well as interviews with some of the big artists and festival goers.
Ireland’s biggest names in country music will take to the stage throughout the day, including Mike Denver, Declan Nerney, Robert Mizzell, Michael English, Trudi Lalor, Lee Matthews, Adrian Ryan, Pat Costello and many more.
This fun-filled day of country music features a wide variety of entertainment for the whole family, as well as onsite catering, full bar, free parking, and an outdoor dance floor. There truly is something for everyone.
Gates open at 12.30pm and admission is €20 with children under the age of 12 admitted free. A family ticket, which will include admission for teenagers, is also available at the price of €50.

The half-hour special on the the Obama Country Fest will be available to view on the Irish TV channel on Sky 191 and can also be watched on Freesat 400 and online at www.irishtv.com in the UK.
Irish viewers can also watch on eircom’s eVision 191 and all free to air boxes.
