There was a good attendance at Cruinniu Comhairle Mumhan in Mallow on June 17th. The Booklet Re Nua was discussed and delegates were requested to encourage branches to meet regularly and guard the structures and rules as per bunreacht.

An Coiste reported that it was happy with progress to date in Nenagh for forthcoming 2015 Fleadh na Mumhan - a lot of signs are up to direct travellers in and out of the town. The Fleadh will start on Sunday, July 12th and finish on Sunday, July 19th. There will be lots of entertainment provided. Competitions will take place on Saturday, July 18th and Sunday, July 19th.

Kieran Hanrahan of Ceili House fame will be director of Scoil Eigse in Sligo at Fleadh na hEireann 2015 in Sligo.

Sympathy was expressed to families of those killed in tragic accident of six Dublin Students in Berkeley - Olivia Burke, Lorcan Miller, Eimear Walsh, Eoghan Culligan, Ashley Donohoe (US), Niccllai Schuster and hopes were declared that the injured will eventually regain good health.

At our Bord Chontae meeting on Monday, June 22nd Cathaoirleach Michael Murphy was unavoidably absent. So, Leas-Cathaoirleach Tom Cormican assumed the chair. Branches sent in names of those willing to help at Fleadh na Mumhan on competition weekend July l8th-19th. Helpers need to be in Nenagh at 9am. Car passes will be available.

There was a full attendance at the Fleadh na Mumhan meeting in the Abbey Court Hotel on June 24th where a discussion took place on all aspects of the Fleadh.

PRO Conor Delaney is updating Facebook constantly and has been in touch with all radio stations within a radius of thirty miles . Some Committee members have travelled to Tipperary to give details of Fleadh on Tipp Mid-West Radio on the Comhaltas programme with Donnchadh O’Cinneide. Brian Boland has got pledges of help from the committees of local rugby, soccer, GAA clubs and other local organisations. The Gardai and Knights of Malta has also been very helpful.

Anne Quinn and her team have catering at the four venues under control. Catherine in accommodation is hoping to keep the visitors accommodation as near as possible to Nenagh. The Nenagh Guardian has also been most helpful.

Assunta congratulated the committee on a very uplifting launch on Friday, June 5th which was most enjoyable.

All present looking forward to a week of festivities.
