‘The Many Faces of Cashel’ contains portraits and group photographs of Cashel natives down through the years. Curated by local photographer Mark Fitzell, the site is a treasure trove of social history and a must-see for anyone with an interest in Cashel’s recent past. Go online and spot someone you know, or just wonder at how fashions and hairdos have changed over the years! Separately, a TV show recorded for Irish TV and linked to the Cashel Facebook group was shown on Sky Channel 191 last Saturday (February 7th) at 8.30pm, and is available online at www.irishtv.ie. The programme, called ‘Tipperary County Matter’ tells local Cashel stories to a global audience and features the famous Bothán Scór on the Clonmel Road in Cashel.
