On Friday, September 27th and Saturday, September 28th the Simon Ryan Theatre in the Tipperary Excel will host ‘Angel Dust & Dallas’.

This comedy-drama written by Paul Maher tells the story of Madge, a sacristan & gambler who loves Bobby Ewing (from ‘Dallas’ on the telly), and May, a priest’s housekeeper & priest tormentor who loves Cliff Barnes (another character from ‘Dallas’).

The parish priest has a love child in America; his curate has a fascination for rugby girls; the nuns are selling angel dust and the Garda is obsessed with Elvis and women who kill.

If you liked John B Keane’s ‘Moll’ or ‘Father Ted’ you will love this madcap, high energy comedy written by Tipperary writer Paul Maher.

The production features Aine Ryan, who is just back from Edinburgh with ‘Kitty in the Lane’, and Irene Kelleher who stars in ‘Fair City’ and ‘Game of Thrones’.

Curtains up at 8pm.
