Dr Allan Mee, The Golden Eagle Trust’s White-Tailed Eagle Reintroduction Project Manager, will visit Nenagh Arts Centre on Wednesday, May 7th to give a short lecture and discuss the project at a free event for the public.
The Golden Eagle Reintroduction Project is managed by the Golden Eagle Trust Limited in partnership with the National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government. The programme looks to re-establish a viable self-sustaining breeding population of golden eagles in north-west Ireland after an absence of almost 100 years.
Manager at the Arts Centre Brendan Maher said this week: “We’re delighted to get Dr. Allan Mee to the centre to speak about the project and give the wider public some insight into how it all works. It will be a great opportunity to talk to someone dealing with the project on the ground”.
This event is free to the public and takes place at 8pm on Wednesday, May 7th at the Nenagh Arts Centre in Banba Sqaure, Nenagh. Contact the box office for details.
