THE Clonmel Cine Club are excited to announce the details of their spring-summer screening schedule.
Thanks to the overwhelming support and positive feedback that the Clonmel Cine Club have received at the test screenings the club has now decided to go ahead with a full spring-summer line-up of films - Clonmel Cine Club will be showing six films over the next six months. In conjunction with Access Cinema Clonmel Cine Club have chosen a range of films and hope that there is something there to accomodate all tastes.
In 2013 Clonmel Cine Club will also be offering a membership scheme which will give significant discounts on each film.
The membership will be E30 for all six films (so just E5 per film) and the club will be signing people up for membership on the first screening night in January.
The organisers hope that this option suits people as it means members get discounts on the films, but it also offers some security to ensure the film club has the funds to continue running. The organisers also realise however that this option may not suit everyone so there will still be a pay-as-you-go option which will be E7 per film.
The venue and times remain unchanged - South Tipperary County Museum with doors opening at 7pm and screenings starting at 7.30pm. Screenings will take place on the second Thursday of every month. And, as always the club organisers hope that people will stay around after the film for a drink and a chat!
Screening schedule: January 10th - Monsieur Lazhar, February 14th - To Rome with Love, March 14th - The Giants, April 11th - audience choice (vote) Samsara, Queen of Versaille, Woody Allen: A Documentary, May 9th - About Elly, June 13th - Your Sister’s Sister.
