Attractive musical event gets the NAC spring programme off to a great start

The Nenagh Arts Centre will launch its spring programme with an attractive musical event when Trio Elatha feature on Saturday, January 10th.

Formed in 2012 Trio Elatha, with founding members Ailbhe McDonagh and Brendan Walsh, bring together elements of Irish folk and classical music. The Trio Elatha’s concert programmes feature arrangements of traditional Irish tunes coupled with their own compositions.

The Trio Elatha concert takes place on Saturday, January 10th at 8pm. Admission is priced at €15 with a €12 concession rate.

The spring programme will also feature the new Fishamble play ‘Underneath’ while local actress Áine Ryan (Upperchurch) will perform ‘Kitty In the Lane’. This February the Nenagh Players will return to the stage with their latest production while the Barnstorm Theatre visits Nenagh in February with their children’s play ‘Monday’s Child’.

In music The Fureys will play their rescheduled concert on March 28th and The Nualas bring their comedic musical touch earlier that month while there will also be classical guitar with John O’Shea in February.
