Following an incredible response and a string of sold-out shows for their first tour in 2012 Irish comedy duo 2 Tuff Yokes have announced their new Irish tour and will be hosting their first show at the Racket Hall in Roscrea on April 4th.
2 Tuff Yokes was created by long-time friends, entertainer/comedian Pat Hayes and London-based music star Seamus Moore. Seamus Moore is more commonly known as ‘The JCB Man’ following his infamous talent competition win in the 70s with his still popular ‘JCB Song’.
Both men hail from Kilkenny and their respective careers saw them perform all over Ireland including Kerry, Cork and Tipperary as well as in New York, the Shetlands Isles, all over England to the Outer Hebrides!
Wanting to create an act which merged Pat’s comedy and Seamus’ colourful songs into one great night’s entertainment 2 Tuff Yokes was born. Pat and Seamus started performing as a duo in 2012 to great acclaim and tickets are selling fast for their new 2013 tour.
Named after Seamus’ favourite and well-known Irish expression, “you’re a tough ‘aul yoke”, popular hits from the 2 Tuff Yokes repertoire includes ‘The Viagra Song’, ‘The Second Hand Trousers I bought in Belcoo’, ‘Did You Ever Get a Ride on a Tractor’ and ‘The Big Bamboo’.
Both Seamus and Pat love performing as part of 2 Tuff Yokes. Described as “the next D’Unbelievables” their humorous songs and unique brand of comedy are accompanied by live musicians.
“We’ve had a great response so far and love the reaction of our audiences. There’s a terrific buzz and we love giving people a great show with lots of laughs,” explanins Pat Hayes.
The 2 Tuff Yokes’ shows is suitable for over-18 only. For more information and tickets please see2tuffyokes.com.
