The Source Arts Centre in Thurles will host the Fishamble: The New Play Company production of ‘Swing’ on Thursday, June 26th.

‘Swing’ is a romantic comedy about dancing, music and love. Two people, May and Joe, meet over a period of one year at swing dance classes and slowly fall in love. She has a long-term boyfriend, but the passion may have evaporated over the years. He is a divorcee who is catching a second breath of life.

Having received standing ovations at its premiere at the 2014 Dublin Dance Festival in the Peacock Theatre, ‘Swing’ promises to be a real treat for Thurles audiences and beyond. This is a show about dancing, music and love, being brave, trying your best and giving it a lash.

It’s a truly lovely play that has a broad appeal and will leave you tapping your toes after it tugs at your heart strings.

With an excellent soundtrack and stellar dance sequences from the cast ‘Swing’ will leave you with a spring in your step!

‘Swing’ will feature at The Source Arts Centre in Thurles on Thursday, June 26th at 8pm. Tickets are priced at €18 (€16 concession).
