There will be 3 prize categories and the overall winner will receive a €300 One4all voucher as well as a €1,000 bursary for their school and €1,000 worth of books for their school library.

Writer, actress and mum, Amy Huberman, who officially launched the Bord Gáis Energy Student Theatre Awards in January, helped judge the awards along with members of the Bord Gáis Energy and Bord Gáis Energy Theatre teams. “I have been absolutely overwhelmed by the standard of entries for this year’s Bord Gáis Energy Student Theatre Awards. It was a really tough decision to come up with our shortlist and it’s going to be even tougher to select the winners! All those shortlisted should be extremely proud of themselves and I look forward to presenting the prizes to the winners on Wednesday, 9th April,” she said.
