The Source Youth Arts Project represents a unique opportunity to work with some of the best community arts workers in the country.

Building on the success of eight previous summer youth programmes The Source returns with another exciting project which will bring together young people from Thurles and the surrounding areas. Working with professional theatre makers, writers and designers you will build a working theatre set, get involved in costume design and lighting to create a live contemporary performance event for family and friends based on these fabulously magical stories.

Tony Fegan is a creative producer, theatre director and participatory arts practitioner and just one of the community arts workers involved in the project. As Director of Learning at LIFT (London International Festival of Theatre 1992–2007) Tony developed a wide-ranging and highly-influential arts learning programme with national and international artists working with youth, community groups, schools and universities on long term artist collaborations including site specific events. In 2007 Tony  joined Tallaght Community Arts as Director and has repositioned the company as an arts development organisation working closely with a range of professional artists and communities in Dublin.
