Fr John McGrath was unique in his love of art and music and the Crawford Art Gallery, Cork are indebted to the extraordinary generosity of his bequest, a collection of forty-five paintings and three prints which were given to the gallery on his death in 1997.
This arrangement was made during his lifetime as he was concerned about the future of his collection and anxious that it would be available to the public to view the works of art.
The exhibition at the Excel Gallery will feature part of that collection.
