National Organic Week In Tipperary
National Organic Week which is co-ordinated by Bord Bia and the Department of Agriculture Food & the Marine takes place this week. To celebrate this organic producers and growers all over the country are participating in events, four of which are taking place in Tipperary.
The four are:
The Nature of Organic Food Farm Walk & Talk on Case for Organics by Dr Ollie Moore
which takes place Cloncannon, Moneygall, Roscrea, from 3pm - 5pm on Saturday 15th Sept.
There is an Organic Food Demonstration from 2-4pm today Thurs & tomorrow Fri and Sampling all week in The Food Store, Main St, Cloughjordan - 10am - 6pm, Mon 10th - Fri 14th and 10am - 4pm, Sat 15th Sept.
There is also a Tastings of St Tola Cheese, Mossfield Cheese and Sunny Meadow & Philip Draper Organic Vegetables at Country Choice, Nenagh from 10am -5.30pm, on Sat 15th Sept.
Crowe’s Farm Organic Barbeque and Teagasc Farm Walk takes place at Crowe’s Farm, Gortussa, Dundrum from 2pm - 8pm, on Fri 14th Sept.
