Funding For Templemore Youth Cafe

Local Fine Gael TD Noel Coonan has welcomed the news that Templemore Youth Café has received funding of €21,000 from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs.

“I understand €21,000 has been given to Templemore Youth Café to develop their facilities and that Tipperary Regional Youth Services got confirmation of the funding last week,” said Deputy Coonan.

“The money will go a long way towards providing a safe, alcohol and drug free meeting space for young people. The Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Frances Fitzgerald responded positively to my lobbying for additional amenities in Templemore town.”

“It is vital that we continue to provide services to the youth of our country. The young people living in Templemore are very deserving of this amenity,” said Noel.
