Bus Eireann Apologises For Service Delays
Following recent correspondence from Councillor Tom Wood concerning timetable problems being experienced by passengers with the Cashel connection on their Route X8, Dublin/Cork service, Bus Eireann state, “We would like to apologise most sincerely to passengers for the inconvenience which has been caused as a result of the delays to the service”.
A spokesperson stated that at Bus Eireann, “we aim to provide the best possible service to our customers and it is most disappointing to hear that this has not been the experience. In an effort to improve the service offered to our customers we introduced certain changes to our Cork/Dublin route. We are experiencing operational difficulties with this service, but I can assure you that every effort is being made to rectify these problems. We fully appreciate the importance of providing a dependable and efficient service and we are endeavouring to return this service to a high standard as soon as possible.”
