Fracture Youth Theatre, under the direction of Youth Theatre Facilitators Joanne Quinn and Aoife Carry, present Alex in Wonderland panto by Brendan Williams in The Source Arts Centre, Thurles on Saturday, December 22nd at 3pm and 7pm.

Fracture Youth Theatre take us to the Wonderland where we all know the story of Alice in Wonderland or do we?  The White Queen is dead and a new heir must be found before the Evil Red Queen takes over Wonderland.

The White Rabbit has been searching for an heir for years and it seems that anyone will do and this time it’s Alex from Thurles!

But will Alex be able to fool the Red Queen before it’s “off with her head”?

Join the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee and the Cheshire Cat on this whirlwind adventure down the rabbit hole.

Be ready to boo the baddies and cheer our heros! This wonderful panto is suitable for all the family and a great chance to see a local panto produced by the best local young talent.

Fracture Youth Theatre encourages young people (aged thirteen to seventeen years of age) to enjoy drama and related activities through participation in theatrical performance, workshops, games and improvisations.

It also gives drama instruction in an enjoyable environment in which members can learn and thrive.

Weekly workshops will resume in early February for young people in the Thurles area. Participants meet once-a-week during term time and are introduced to all aspects of drama and theatre. So, if you think you might like to join why not come along to this show to get a flavour of what it’s all about.

Show tickets cost E7 and booking is available from the box office at The Source Arts Centre - please telephone 0504 90340.

Fracture Youth Theatre is run by the Arts Office of North Tipperary County Council as part of the County Arts Development Programme with support from The Arts Council.
