Shakespeare Sessions

Cyclone Rep, in partnership with The Everyman, have announced its 2012-13 touring season for The Shakespeare Sessions.

This year Cyclone Rep are offering The Macbeth Session for Senior Cycle; The Romeo & Juliet Session and The Merchant Session for Junior Cycle.

The Shakespeare Sessions are entertaining and engaging student-centred performances of the plays that include a scholarly review clarifying the main themes and topics as well as discussions with the students and opportunities for participation. The primary goal of the Shakespeare Sessions is to help Junior Cert and Leaving Cert learners in their understanding of Shakespeare’s masterpieces.

The Cyclone Shakespeare Sessions have been highly lauded as an ideal way to present curriculum plays to learners.

Standard ticket price is E14 per student and teachers are free. However, there is an early bird booking price - E2 discount on every ticket booked and paid early in full. Early bird does not apply to direct-to-school bookings.
