Renowned Soprano For Nenagh

Soprano Celine Byrne who performed before thousands at the Eucharistic Congress this summer is bringing her classical Christmas concert to Nenagh Arts Centre on this coming Saturday, the 15th December.

Celine has been making a considerable mark on both the operatic and concert stages throughout the world with recent performances at Carnegie Hall and the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden. Her appearances at such houses and others including the National Concert Hall, Dublin, the Hermitage, St. Petersburg, Tchaikovsky Hall, Moscow, National Grand Theatre, Beijing and Berliner Philharmonie have been greeted with enthusiastic acclaim by her audiences.

Invited to perform at this years International Eucharistic Congress in Dublin, Celine noted that it was “both an honour and a blessing for which I am grateful.”

‘A Classical Christmas with Celine Byrne and Friends’ will feature familiar songs from the world of opera in addition to well-known Christmas carols and songs such as ‘O Holy Night’ and ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’. This is an extra special opportunity to have a give or get a pre-Christmas treat.

The concert starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 15th. Admission is €25/€22 (concessions) from Nenagh Arts Centre, Town Hall, Banba Square. Some tickets may be available at the door, however advance booking is recommended.
