Opera d’Arte - Experience All The Passions Of The Opera In One Show

Opera d’Arte features at the Tipperary Excel on Friday, November 16th - experiences all the passions of the opera in one spectacular show.

Following standing ovations at the National Concert Hall, Dublin, UCH Limerick and Cork Opera House Opera d’Arte comes to the Tipperary Excel for one night only on Friday, November 16th at 8pm.

Opera d’Arte presents a diverse programme of musical masterpieces including selections from La Traviata, Carmen, Cosi Fan Tutte, Die Fledermaus, La bohème, Turandot and The Barber of Seville.

This production features a stellar line-up of some of Ireland’s favourite singers: Sandra Oman (Soprano - Opera Ireland, Co-Opera, Opera Holland Park), Deirdre Masterson (Mezzo-Soprano - Opera Ireland, Wexford Festival Opera, Lyric Opera), Eugene Ginty ( Tenor - Opera Ireland, ENO, Scottish Opera) and Brendan Collins (Baritone - Opera Ireland, OTC, English Touring Opera).

The Musical Director David Wray is best-known as Artistic Director of the popular ‘Opera in the Open’ series presented by Dublin City Council each summer.

Opera d’Arte is produced by Aisling Sullivan who previously held the positions of Artistic Administrator & Company Manager with Opera Ireland prior to the company’s closure in 2010.

She now runs her own production company, Arts Path (arts-path.com), which specialises in Opera production.

She was also appointed Creative Director of The Mill Theatre, Dundrum in January 2012.
