A memorable night of nostalgia was held in the Damer Court Hotel on Friday night past when Roscrea Comhaltas closed their Golden Anniversary with the launch of their book “Harmonies and Gracenotes”.

This book was written, edited, and compiled by Richard (Dick) Conroy and all associated with Roscrea Comhaltas, past and present are deeply indebited to Dick for the dedication and professional manner in the production of this publication. The book covers the period from foundation to present day and is compiled in 10 year segments. There are plenty of nostalgic photos and articles and as one is reading something that you may have forgotten about is suddenly brought back to memory. The book was launched by Senator Lauras O Muruchu, who in his address to the large attendance paid tribute to the Roscrea Branch and all associated with it.
