Fundraising Evening Of Trad Music At The Excel Theatre

There will be a fundraising evening of traditional music and song held in the Excel Theatre, Tipperary Town on Tuesday, November 20th at 8pm sharp in aid of CARE - South Tipperary Cancer Support Centre.

CARE Cancer Support Centre provides support and information to anyone affected by cancer in the South Tipperary area.

It provides emotional support and practical help to people who have had cancer, their family and friends. Services provided include emotional support, information, support groups, complementary and relaxation therapies and counselling referrals. All services are free of charge and provided in the strictest confidence. The Centre is open Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm.

Tickets priced at E10/E12 are available at the Excel. There will be a Door prize and raffle on the night. This event is organised by Virginia Moore who is currently an oncology patient. Fran Curry will act as MC on the night and there will be some very nice music performed by local as well as not so local artists.

Some of the better known performers on the night will include Billy Clifford, Ailbe Grace and Anthony O’Connor. There will also be performances from various trad groups and singers as well as Paddy McAuliffe and Eire Og Set Dancers on the night.
